Participants
Anyone who is fit, between the ages of 12 to 99, and is open to a challenge.
Anyone can join. Experience not necessary. But being fit would be essential.
Volunteers
We are also looking for energetic and fun loving volunteers to help us manage the BAR 2007 and the Adventure Challenge @ JPCC Playground 2007. If you don’t feel up to the challenge of competing but wants to take part, then sign up as a volunteer! Forms are also available at the same venues.
What do volunteers do?? Well, volunteers are the heart of the operation. As a volunteer, you are helping us organise the event and the races, plus you get to enjoy the excitement and the fun and soak in the atmosphere of the races.
Volunteers help us with everything, from registering participants, to manning routes, safety stations, and manning the stations at the starting and finishing lines.
If you are up to it, join us!

how do i register to participate in the race?
Wen in November will it be?
Hello 1210 and prakus,
Thank you for your interest.
To register, just drop by our office at Intrepid Teams at the PGGMB building and fill in a form.
The BAR would be held every sunday in November. Example, first sunday in Temburong doing orienteering and water adventures; second sunday in Tutong doing footwork and rope skills etc. We finish on the final Sunday in Brunei Muara.
You dont actually have to take part in all the races, though it would be necessary if you aim to win the grand prizes. POints accumulated in every race would count towards the final points tally. Each race though has their own prizes.
It would be fun and exciting.
Jo.
who would be overseeing the rock climbing event? it’ll be at tasek lama ryt?
Hi Climber,
Maybe and maybe not. We wont be releasing the routes or the venues until a few days, or even a day before the race when we shall be calling the team leaders for a briefing. Adventure Race rules say that this will be kept secret until at least a day before the race.
We have a group of avid climbers and trained personnel who shall be overseeing the rope events. Safety is our number one concern.
Hope to see you soon.
Jo
so, does that mean we have to make our way to temburong/ tutong/ belait on our own or is there gonna be transport provided?
1. Since the race is postponed to a further date, can people still register? Do you forward the entry deadline as well?
2. And what if people want to volunteer as the media or photographer?
Thanks…
