Xtreme Adventure Challenge @ JP Playground 2007

Join the 1st Xtreme Adventure Challenge @ JPCC Playground 2007 to be held on Sunday the 26th August 2007 at the JPCC Playground. It’s a fun mini extreme adventure series where teams of four will race against the clock and against each other to complete a series of adrenaline packed adventure tasks. It would be fun and exciting and completing the tasks will be physically and mentally challenging.

The Xtreme Adventure Challenge @ JP Playground is a warm up to the 1st Brunei Adventure Race (BAR) to be held in November 2007. Teams of 4 will test their will power, skill and stamina in an exciting race incorporating Footwork, Orienteering and Navigation, Rope Skills and Water Adventures. This will be the first of the Amazing Race of Brunei series!

So, team up with your friends or family, and join us at the Xtreme Adventure Challenge @ JPCC Playground 2007. Exciting prizes will be given to the winners. Great fun will be had by all!!!

Forms and registration are available from the JPCC Playground Office, at Intrepid Teams, PGGMB Building or join us at the BAR 2007 and Adventure Challenge Road show in HuaHo Mall Manggis on 10th August 2007.

QUICK FACTS  

Race THEME:   Teams race against each other within a time limit, overcoming mental, emotional and physical challenges to conquer obstacles 

Race FORMAT:                       

Footwork – Run, crawl or walk on roads or jungle                                               

Orienteering – Mapreading and Navigating through the playground to retrieve markers                                                

Mystery Challenges – Tasks to challenge your team’s ability to work together and solve problems                                               

Water Challenges – Adventure elements involving water. Bring your wet gear, you will get wet!                                               

Adventure Challenges – Rope climbing,  Rock climbing. You get the picture..                                                 

TEAM Composition:  Mixed Gender Teams of 4 racers with at least 1 Male or 1 Female 

Age CATEGORY:  Aged 12 to 99 years     

LENGTH of Course:  2 hours                                                            

SUPPORT Crew:  Cheerleaders allowed / encouraged at all times 

Who can ENTER: Anyone who is fit and enjoys a challenge 

Entry FEE:   B$50 per team  

Entry METHOD:   Forms can be obtained from the JPCC Playground Admin office, at Intrepid Teams, PGGMB Building or from the BAR 2007 / Adventure Challenge Roadshow at the Hua Ho Hall Manggis on the 10^th August 2007.  Forms and entry fees must be returned at the same venues before 20^th August 2007.
